De-Stress! Lab Cooking Day

Who says that grad students never stop working? Here in the EMT lab we do our best to take a break every once in a while and we recently did a lab cook day exploring delicious ethnic cuisine from Indian Pakoras, to Chinese pot stickers, to Thai noodles — finishing it off with pie and chocolate cake! It was a nice way to spend a Saturday!

In other news, Dre and Claire recently passed their qualifying exams and are now official PhD Candidates! The year is wrapping up, and our STEM outreach with SEED and Be A Scientist is also coming to close. Finals are this week, so we’re taking a break from taking a break and buckling down! Here’s hoping for a strong end to Fall Semester 2017!
