Zach’s interest in heat transfer methods developed while interning with Intel where he learned firsthand the importance of adapting cooling methods to shrinking electronics packaging. Zach is especially interested in applying phase change materials to solve challenging thermal issues.
At his undergraduate institution, Zach worked on Global Formula Racing’s cooling system, redesigning the cooling package for the 2016 car from the ground up. In his free time, he enjoys cycling and playing piano and bass guitar.
