Dave has worked on a variety of exciting projects during his time in the Carey lab. Most recently, he worked to design a heat exchanger for waste heat applications. He has also worked outside the lab for a startup doing designing a high efficiency engine powered by waste heat.
Dave recently began a position as an engineer at Tesla’s new GigaFactory in Nevada. There, he’ll be applying his thermal engineering skills to designing cutting edge battery technology. Big things to come, I’m sure.
Dave played on the Mech. Eng. Softball team and also biked to and from work every day.
